Getting ready for the flu season

Getting ready for flu season vaccinations

Community pharmacies have been exceptionally well-experienced at delivering vaccinations over the last twelve months, and long before this pandemic, but as the country heads into the start of flu season, it’s always helpful to have a reminder about what’s needed to maintain QCPP Accreditation for Vaccination Services.

If you are delivering vaccinations, you must be accredited for Vaccination Services to maintain compliance with your QCPP Accreditation.

We have provided a Frequently Asked Questions section below, but as always, the QCPP Team are here to help, so please contact the Support Team for any questions you may have about Vaccination Services.

Easter chocolate in the fridge?

As trusted members of the community, you can often receive chocolate as Easter gifts from patients and consumers who are grateful for your help and ongoing support.

But the eternal dilemma about chocolate in Australia is - should chocolate be kept in the fridge?

Our answer is: Not in the dispensary fridge!

However, we found a couple of resources from science and chocolate experts to answer the question about domestic chocolate storage. But we’ll leave it to you to decide which tastes better!
