Cyber Security Awareness Month |
Is your pharmacy cyber wise? With the complexity and volume of cyber threats on the rise in Australia, it's important to familiarise yourself with best-practice for managing sensitive data.
Per Requirement 4.4.4, pharmacies must implement and maintain a procedure for the completion of routine data backups.
This is to ensure that, in the event of an infrastructure loss, the pharmacy can recover IT systems and important documentation.
Click the links below to see how you can help safeguard your pharmacy against data breaches. |

The following entities can certify dispensary refrigerators:
- The Cold Chain Testing Centre

Submitting your assessment |
When uploading documents to the QCPP Customer Portal during your assessment week, ensure that you don’t select the Submit button until you have uploaded all documentation.
Hitting this button prematurely will close out your assessment and you will no longer be able to upload further evidence.
For guidance on how to address this, contact the QCPP Support Team on 1300 363 340 or email us at help@qcpp.com. |

Important information on MMR Certificates |
Due to the closure of The Australian Association of Consultant Pharmacy’s (AACP), MMR certificates issued from AACP are no longer considered compliant.
Depending on which new training provider you are continuing your MMR accreditation with Australasian College of Pharmacy (ACP), Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA), or Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia (SHPA), you would have been provided with a way to access your new certificate through the PPA portal.
To be considered compliant for the MMR service, you will need to supply the certificate that has been issued by one of the training providers listed above.
For further information regarding the new changes to MMR certificates click the links below. |
