Common Corrective Actions
We have compiled a list of common corrective actions that have come up in recent assessments. To learn more about closing out your corrective actions, complete the Corrective Actions Short Course on the QCPP website.
1. Certificate of Currency
When uploading copies of certificates as evidence, whether for pharmacy insurance or pharmacist training, ensure that the evidence is current at the time of your assessment.

Examples of these certificates are professional indemnity, public liability and workers compensation insurances and CPR and first aid certifications.

In the event that any of your various insurances and certificates are expiring soon after your assessment week, ensure that the evidence you upload is that of your current policy and training records.
Domain 1.2 - Risk Management
2. CPR and First Aid certificates
As well as keeping up to date with certificates of currency for your business’ insurances, CPR and First Aid certificates need to be renewed with differing regularity.

CPR Certification must be completed annually to ensure your training meets current standards and your certificate is up to date.

First Aid Certificates are valid for 3 years, but CPR is not included in this.
Domain 4.3 - Safety & Security
3. Completing Non-Conformances
It is important to ensure you complete your Corrective Actions within the 60 to 90 day time frame to avoid lapsing your pharmacy’s accreditation.

Non – Conformances must be completed within 60 days of the interim report being issued, Remedial Actions must be completed within 90 days.

Beginning the Corrective Actions process soon after your interim report is issued gives your pharmacy time to receive support and feedback for evidence submitted during that time.

It is also vital to continue visiting the QCPP Customer Portal after Corrective Action evidence is submitted for feedback from your assessor.

Learn more about what to do after your assessment by visiting the QCPP website.
